I created my advertisement using Photoshop on the Apple Mac computers. This programme allowed me to create an advertisement with detail and layers that can be edited to give the correct information to my target audience.
Firstly, I started with an A4 blank page which is the size of the advertisement that I would liked to create. On my style model it is displayed that at the bottom of the page there is the tour information for the album that was being released.
I have replicated this is within my own advertisement to give the audience more information into the album release and tour coming with the album. As I was very unsure to the dates and places that an artist would tour, I decided to follow the tour from Billy Bragg advertisement and looked at the layout. I added the website page for my artist and also credited the production company as this would be credited in other advertisements. However, I have changed the dates to match those from the current year of 2018. I have also changed the sold out venues to be placed in places I feel would be sold out now rather now for my artist. I have chosen to make this smaller on my page than it is on my style model as I would like to focus on selling the album rather than the tour of the album.

Next, I added a background image. To do this I had a photograph that I took when completing my music video. I then transferred this image into Photoshop, were I took out the background and put in another photograph with the background being the blue sky. The reason I did this was because the background of the original image was too 'busy' for a basic album advertisement and I would like to overlay text, so I changed it to be the sky were text will be easily visible. Also I don't want that picture to be the main feature but for the audience to focus on the artist and the album.
After adding the image, I opened my Digi-Pack on Photoshop and transferred the artist name and the album title to ensure that the same font and colours were used. I then resized this to make it fit the size of the A4 page.
I went on to add a screenshot of my Digi-Pack, as this is the album that I am advertising to my audience. I made sure that this was placed next to my artist head to give the impression that he is looking at the album which would direct the audience to that part of the advertisement. I also made sure to add the date of release underneath so the audience could clearly see that it was available on this date.
I also added a 'Pre-Order Now' statement on the left hand side to make the audience aware that they can 'Pre-order' this album.
Lastly, I added some information about the limited edition album available to the audiences who are bigger fans of my artist.
