The original video was first seen on the 12th September 2006, with themes of light and stopped time. It is based on a car crash with victims in pause, with the light throughout the video shining onto dark woods that the video takes place. With some scenes of the band playing in the forest.

After this they went on to create another music video for the TV programme Grey's Anatomy, where scenes of both the TV programme and the original music video were comprised to make the second video. However, the only scenes that are used in the original video are of the band in a warehouse.

They then went on to create a third music video, directed by Mark Pellington, which was released on the 6th December 2006. It features numbers of people between the ages of 12-18 years old, who are suffering from depression and the feeling of suicidal or people in mourning. It was known that all of the children in the music video had lost someone prior to filming. Therefore, it is seen that many of them are crying or screaming in the music video. It ends with the children finding peace with themselves and others.
